An interior oasis inside a gated community

The project for this family house had as main inputs the corner location of the plot, the sun and the need for the house to be completely private from the outside. The couple understood the virtues of the corner differently. The husband who thought the corner maximises the facades with the possibility of showing off the design and the wife who felt it left her exposed thus a prerequisite of the project was to generate situations of privacy and shelter.

It is with this in mind that we faced the drafts and after successive approximations, we went closer to the final design in which the house is raised in a very introspective way, very closed to the curious pedestrian which contrasts with the open interior taking advantage of the best orientation.
