A social and sports club, a meeting place for the community
On the grounds of what was the Club of the Circular of NCOs, the architectural and landscape proposal for the new Club Atletico Sefaradi Argentino is organized. Understanding that the old club did not fit the client’s needs; that there were a number of deteriorated and anti-regulation buildings; but also a series of old structures with heritage value to be rescued especially a modern style building, is that the architectural proposal is structured in which it seeks to restore and value the architectural heritage existing in the building and in the site.
The Club is located in the limits of the park 3 de Febrero wich still retains some of the park’s old trees. Also, on the property was a building of rationalist style, absolutely deteriorated and successively modified and annexed to temporary constructions that prevented long views from one end of the site to the other.
It is then decided with the architecture and landscape project to strengthen the existing groves, characterize and recover the social headquarters and to place the rest of the programs requested and proposed in such a way as to generate a dialogue between the natural and the artificial, between the new and the inherited. Rescuing the history of the place and enhancing the power of the whole.
