Leading architects from across the length and breadth of the Americas gathered at The Savoy Hotel in London on Monday (December 12th) for the announcement of the winners of the hotly contested Americas Property Awards in association with Bloomberg Television and Google.

These awards, combined with the other regional awards' programmes for Arabia, Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific, form the globally renowned International Property Awards. Established 17 years ago, they are the world's most prestigious property competition and cover residential as well as commercial categories. Judging is carried out through a meticulous process involving a panel of over 60 experts covering every aspect of the property business.

President of the International Property Awards, Stuart Shield, says, "I was delighted to have the opportunity to meet so many of the Americas' finest architects. Despite having to face tough market conditions, they have not only risen to meet these challenges but also managed to excel over them."

In this context Loft34 was honoured with a Highly Commended Award for the Single Residence in Argentina

Club CASA obtained the 3rd. Prize at the ARQ2011 Awards to medium scale projects in the City of Buenos Aires, organaized by FADEA [Argentine Architects Federation and ARQ]

Oliverio Najmias, NOA principal, has been invited to be part of the jury panel for the Des Baker National Student Design Award & Exhibition to be held in Johannesburg

On Earth's Day NOA have been selected by the Virserum Art Museum in Sweden to be part of WOOD 2010. Among other selected are Steven Holl Architects, Behnisch Architekten and the Berlage Institute. The project Tribal was selected along with 41 other projects that encapsulate the Architecture of Necessity among more than 140 contributions from four continents.

Najmias Office for Architecture has been appointed to take part in RECENT WORK Exhibition with the project Loft34.

Opening 12th May  at the lobby of the SCA [Central Society of Architects] the first exhibit of the Recent Works Cicle 2009. The jury -Ricardo Blinder, Ignacio Montaldo and Alberto Varas- selected ten works among the submitted.
